His transformation works how Chromedome's wishes it worked. His colors are gorgeous, I don't know why Hasbro can't into making a Roddy that isn't obnoxious and cheap red and yellow plastic. Burgundy and orange makes the character.
I dunno, something about Hot Rod being such an obvious, forced, executively-mandated character makes me really into the idea that he should be a dude who just unilaterally embrace every gimmick technology in existence, so a Hot Rod that is both a targetmaster and a headmaster makes me a little giddy.
