I happen to be an expert idiot when it comes to saving money on modelling. You can save good amount of money when you leave Tamiya and Gunze brand stuff on the shelf and just go to hardware store and get yourself a can of isopropyl alcohol and a can of acetone. In some cases they even work better than brand stuff.
