My little brother got pic related when he was 6. They stayed together pretty well; the pins in some of the hands came loose as well as some of the joints, but overall they never quite "broke". In terms of Spartans, I think they're fine, albeit a bit limited, especially near the end of Mcfarlane's hold on the license.
