>>5913731>non-articulated figures have a lot of crossover with the subjects that a lot of /toy/ likes, with /co/, /tv/, /a/, and /mu/ being examples>Maybe if we even had "Japanese statue General" and "Non-Japanese Statue General" for the brunt of all the statues, since a lot of people dont like them. Most of the things that /toy/ would collect ac statues, there are already articulated figures of and there is already an interest in the subject matter.
Is a Baseball /toy/ related?
>is it meant to be played with?yes
>does it have moving parts allowing for articulation?no
>do different companies make the same product allowing for discussion of different aspects of playing with the item and comparing the item from company to company?yes
>is there ample room for discussion about different ways to interact with the item and improve techniques?yes
Is a Batman statue /toy/ related?

Technically, a baseball is a toy and should be allowed on this board.
If someone posts on this board asking "hey what kind of baseball is the best. what kind do you guys use" they probably wont get a lot of replies.
They should take their baseball related posts to /sp/ if they want an actual discussion about the baseball
the difference between the baseball and the batman statue is that there is already an interest in batman and the statue can be displayed alongside other articulated figures.
