>>9561211>Don't know why people can't grasp this shit. These just weren't nearly as popular as op thinks they are, I remember seeing all of this shit on deep clearance at my walmart when they were around, and my Walmart almost never does more than like 15% off.The FNAF sets definitely were popular though. It just petered out, because the FNAF fad had ended. And it wasn't just McFarlane, but other toylines as well. A quarter of the action figure aisle at Target used to be dedicated to just FNAF and it slowly started to grow smaller over the years (why were FNAF sets not in the biulding block aisle? This is the reason why McFarlane Toys said their sets failed, because most people were confused on what the toys actually were).
That other guy who responded to you isn't wrong, because there is a lot of demand for FNAF sets still. On eBay OPENED and ALREADY BUILT sets go for like 2x the price, while brand new also go for 2x-5x their original price. Pretty fucking gross.
I actually have a few FNAF sets i never built that i could sell for 2x what i paid for, but going to the effort of selling $6 sets for $14 isn't really worth it. I'll probably just open them someday and just use the blocks as filler for whatever i'm building. It's almost a waste to use them as filler, because their quality is better than LEGO.
And after looking a little more, it seems like some of my sets are going for 5x what i paid. Almost worth it, but meh.
