Yeah, the bleeding is bad. They also need to add at least one more lighter color in the middle to create kind of a gradient.
That way, it will look a bit more convincing than the plain single red.

It's too flat. It's meant to simulate glowing eyes, but it's just kind silly looking.
All they need is to mix in another lighter color and it will look more convincing, in my opinion. See my edit, pic related.
