I thought I'd be done with Shooter by now but I'm still waiting for the parts for her to arrive. In the meantime I ordered some parts to do a custom 1/18 Sgt. Slaughter and they arrived fast enough for me to get right to work. It's actually pretty straight forward-- cast Sgt. Slaughter head off of ebay, a movie Roadblock body, some Marauder hands, and all the skin gets painted to match. I dun goofed though and accidentally melted one of the hands with my heat gun while trying to accelerate the paint trying.
The head is basically done aside from needing to get sealed. I still have more work to do cleaning up the paint apps around the skin but that will be easy. Sealing might take a while and involve multiple steps just to make sure I hit everything and I think I'll use my airbrush for that to make sure it doesn't go on too thick.
