But alright /toy/ anons. Though I have two houses I don't think I'm going to buy any more. But for people who might be interested in getting one of their own, and not building it completely from scratch here is what I picked up in that search.
To preface this, my hunt for a dollhouse started off with seeing a $300 USD house for sale at a local flea market. This house was custom made but would've been comparable to the Vermont Farmhouse Jr. by Real Good Toys, minus a dormer window and the patio. My goal after that was to get a house at a better value, preferably one with a fancy victorian tower turret. In that regard, I feel like I'm pretty lucky with what I ultimately found.
And as a reminder that this is on topic: I wanted to buy a 1:12 scale dollhouse normally meant for adult collectors of miniatures so I could have a house for my figma figures and the slew of furniture and accessories I'd been accumulating for them. It had gotten to the point that I knew I wanted an actual house to properly display it all. Below I'll list out the 3 houses that I bought. Price paid and smaller details about them. If you end up finding up a better deal in the future, great! Be sure to post about it, because I'd love to hear about it and see it too. Please be mindful though, that actual adult collector dollhouses would've cost hundreds of dollars for the person who originally owned them.
1) Assembled Barn of Unknown Make
Exterior: Basic Amateur Paint Job of Red and White. Some crayon Marks.
Interior: 2 Rooms, plus - if you're creative - a hallway on the front side. Interior is just bare wood with a divider with basic barn details.
Not really a house, but a starting point since it was so cheap. Never used it as a barn. Instead, it was used as a restaurant and as a jail even. This was 5$ during half price sale at a goodwill.
