It's not like any of the video games or movies are good enough to develop fans, and those who like the shitty movies and horrible TV shows are normies who wouldn't collect toys, especially when they look different from what they're used to.

I've mentioned it before, but I'm okay with different looks to these characters, because there's so many designs for them that go beyond mainstream media and found only in the comics.
I think the more you read about them, the more open you are, especially since they've changed so much over the past 40 years.
A lot of people stop reading comics and then focus only "their" era of reading the comics, like Jim Lee Cyclops or Psylocke, and only care about these designs.
IT's nostalgiafagging at its worse, but i think casualfags who like bad movies and want toys based on those awful movies are worse.
