I need some inspiration. I got some First Order troopers for cheap and wanted to use pic related as a base/experiment for my first custom. Just some simple repainting with the "cloth" parts being light gray and the armour plates black (and ideally glossy). And maybe some sculpting experiments around the waist. But I can't find a good head. I was thinking some generic sci-fi helmet along the lines of the Marvel Legends Shield Soldier one (though I expect that specific one to be too big). Or maybe something with a slimmer visor/eye-slit. Definitely no SW one, I want to avoid that figure looking like it belongs in a specific universe.
Also does anyone have experience with taking Black Series figures apart? Should I just paint it in one go or try to take it apart further after heating it?
