>>6621922There has definitely been more of a shift to add-ons for the bears rather than the bears themselves. Which honestly, I don't really mind. I've only got a few bears, but I still visit BAB to get clothes and outfits for them. A couple of mine are the 10 dollar cheapo bears that are noticeably smaller than the more expensive bears, which I prefer. It makes it much easier to fit them into the clothes, while I have to force my ghostbusters bear into dresses, and I can forget about shoes. BAB has sacrificed some of the quality of the bears for the sake of making them more customizable, which I can see why that would be a problem for people. Here's a comparison of a cub condo from about 9 years ago I think? To one I got last year. They've definitely gotten smaller, and unfortunately less pretty.
