- The Autobot-Decepticon war in IDW1 ended in AHM, with the defeat of Megatron in it. After a short period of unrest and dust-settling on Earth (the "ongoing" series), Cybertron officially enters post-war peacetime (to varying success). It's then that Starscream manages to get himself elected leader of Cybertron.
- AHM had Thundercracker betray the Decepticons by stopping their attempted nuking of New York. This was in line with his original G1 bio description, which has him questioning the dishonorable Decepticon ways. Skywarp shoots him for it, stranding him under a pile of New York rubble for years. He passes the time by watching soap operas on a TV he patches together, becoming enamoured with human entertainment.
