Work so far, ditched the idea to drill supports for the wires and instead put then on existing stuff around the tank. It ended more "crew added on the go" looking so it's pretty cool
>>6978824>>6979062Thanks lads, it's quite easy to do too:
>Base with some vallejo (or whatever as long as it's not enamel thinner reactive) dark rust colot>Very dark enamel brown coat>While wet dab some dark and fresh rust pigments >it dries quickly as pigments absorb the enamel, also try to keep the "bumpy" texture to scale>With a brush paint the larger chips>With a sponge dab around the large chips to give that peeled off look>with rust color oils give shadows, grime, smoke, splatters. Be careful as you're working on top of enamel base and it's easy to brush away the previous pigment work tho>>6979133>>6984224Yep a vk1602 in the GuP universe.
Those planes look pretty good. Them microscopic cockpits tho
Have you seen Van Gils diorama with an aircraft carrier (lexington or wasp?) sinking with all the crew and stuff around? Fucking beautiful but that dude ain't normal
