The posability of the deluxe also lets you do many sword poses that you can't pull off with either mold. I can agree with you with the issue of the head being a departure from the original g2 laser optimus prime head but to that I say, look at Black convoy. The head is almost perfect for him with the light piping through the cranium and menacing glare. He feels very menacing despite his height and you can tell they had black convoy in mind when making this
