The designs are fun, the engineering is surprisingly good, and they have easy-release gates so you could theoretically just pop parts off the sprues if you were lazy. Like the others said though, don't overpay too much. Maybe splurging a little for your favorites is ok, but don't go crazy. They're good kits, but not so good I'd say pay $60 or $100 for one.
