Just got my Gambit. Preordered on impulse, paid up for it because it was an AmiAmi order and what a pleasant surprise - did Mafex finally change factories or something? I’m floored at how much better this figure is than anything else I’ve ever bought from them, it’s flawless and legitimately looks almost as good as the prototype. Even the plastics feel different, it’s noticeably heavier even without the coat than Cyclops, who is a bigger-built figure. Paint is perfect and all the joints are toleranced just right. Probably the best figure I’ve had so far this year which is a real shocker.
