I think there's a lot that 3P can learn from recent Takara releases, especially MP Hound. I love the engineering and articulation, especially since it doesn't leave a heaping lump of plastic on his back.
But one thing I hope they never adopt are the materials that Takara uses. There's something them really rubs me the wrong way about them. I don't even consider myself a heftfag but I have never been a fan of how Takara's carbots weigh.
