>>10316711Lastly, Phantomaster. He's definitely the most interesting of the bunch - he has parts that are color-sensitive, a spring-loaded tongue that pops out if you squeeze the tabs on the sides of his head, his eyes can roll around and point wherever, and his little hands and legs are really poseable and can grip things. His tail is made of rubber, which concerns me a little (we all know how well rubber holds up with time), and it can't really be posed all that much. He comes with little grasshopper and ladybug accessories which each have pegs on them, allowing you to plug them into any of the ports on his back or onto the one port at the tip of his tongue. His preorder bonus was a tree branch with removable leaves that can fold up or mount to the side of his box, and can be repositioned a bit for better posing; his hands have little holes in them that line up with some pegs along the stick to make him grip it securely, and his bug buddies can peg into any of the other holes along it. his transformation is also 'moderate', but a bit confusing at first - he relies heavily on panels that unfold from his chest, belly, and arms, most of which are on balljoints and can come detached (but easily reattached) if you aren't lining things up perfectly.
Weirdness of his transformation aside, I like him a lot - he's super poseable, the tongue is fun to launch at things, and the color changing is neat. I've also always wanted a pet chameleon since I was little, but never got around to getting one, so this guy's a cool little substitute. Bio:
"'Once I had a friend.' Whenever Demondart is having a happy hour at Rusty oil pump, he always start the story with this line. Today's protagonist is the one called Phantomaster. 'God only knowswhere he went! No one ever saw him again since we pulled off that job. You know the one. After the job, we part ways and never met. Oh, I miss him'. 'Miss him, Miss him'. Other Beastboxes chant repeatedly..."
