It may be an optical illusion, because it's hard to see unless you're really looking, though in flash photos the phenomenon is slightly easier to make out. Another reason I tried to keep all the original pieces from each figure, even if it meant some extra work; In this case, completely disassembling the legs and moving all the hinges over. Gotta placate that OCD.
