I remember seeing ads for pic-related in almost every issue of Nintendo Power when I was a kid. Too bad this particular figure never happened. It's extremely off-model, but I actually really love the overall design. with his He-Man proportions and massive sword. He looks like an x-treme '90s comic book Link, in a way. He's definitely a far sight better than the shit OoT figures they eventually released.
It's actually kind of pathetic that over 20 years later, one of the most popular games of all time still doesn't have any half decent figures. Every attempt has been various degrees of terrible.
