>>8898271In the cases of most mecha things I agree, but with Transformers I actually prefer a panel-less sentai face, just because since they are capable of complicated human-like facial expressions I generally imagine their faces are kind of like IRL animatronics- kinda like pic related- , where there's a sillicone rubber (or alien space metal that acts like sillicone rubber I guess) 'skin' over a bunch of underlying servoes and shit which I imagine looks kinda like bayverse crab-faces.
But that's just my personal autism though.
