Bionicle is peak science fantasy. I have tried to explore the genre and it is so underdeveloped and what is developed usually has some level of cliche to it. Bionicle- a ducking danish toy company- has created a better world and environment than most authors have. How can you not love shit like pic related? My only wish, if I could turn back time, is to make LEGO so successful they release not just mask packs like everyone is talking about but full on matoran-builder packs where you get a bunch of parts to flesh out building your own little villages and shit. As an author myself, Bionicle is unironically the biggest creative influence on me in terms of vision, story, and aesthetic. MATA NUI WAS A GIANT ROBOT THE WHOLE TIME!
