>>9721812I think the 2015 Toa were very good honestly. they brought back the gear function and the dual weapon functionality from the Nuva and Metru sets without sacrificing posability and they did a better job of looking like the original Toa Mata than either their 2002 or 2008 forms from G1
they did the best they could with the pre-existing CCBS parts - of course they couldn't make the sets look as robotic as G1 using mainly hero factory parts, but they did incorporate a few new, more robotic-looking parts and tribal-pattern prints and stickers as a nod to the G1 aesthetic
The only Toa I prefer over the 2015 sets are the Mata and maybe the Metru, I think they're much better sets than the later G1 Toa (I do have a soft spot for some of the Mahri though)
