So I just recieved the Buck’s Troop pack. Being a huge Mega fan I expected a severe case if buyer’s remorse, but these guys are amazing. The quality feels good, nis as gummy as people here said, the ab crunch and heel articulation really makes posing easier, the paint is tip notch and above all, these guys exude style. The visual style is very appealing and asian-sci-fi-ish. These are my first jump into Acid Rain and I’ll definately get more.
The only downsides are the price, which is high for what you get and the lack of detail. Mega’s figures also have C hands, but gloves have details and individual fingers, while these guys have just a C, like Lego figures. They really could use mire details in the hands, wrinkles in clothing, boots, laces, etc. I mean, if Mega can do it at a smaller scale in massive productions, I expect it on the AR stuff, specially for the price tag.
