I was too young for g1, despite managing to snag a few at yard sales when I was a kid. I did, however, have the advantage of having grandparents who lived in the middle of nowhere so occasionally you'd find a kmart or big lots or some other vehicle of retail mediocrity that was like 5 years behind the rest of the country. this glorious bastard was an open-box sale, I think he was like 8 bucks as I recall; 100% complete except for the sticker sheet. he doesn't look like much by modern standards but at the time, it was an epic get.
