I watched a video of this kit and now I really want to do it as my next ship kit. I've always wanted to do an aircraft carrier too and it seems like a good starting point. Going to get photo etch for the aircraft to make them stand out, as well as a bunch of replacement Oerlikons for the stupid plastic blobs that come with the kit. I need like 44 of them total I think + 6 quad Bofors. Also 8 replacement 5"/38 guns.
The only shitty thing about this kit as far as I can tell is it only comes with 15 aircraft, 5 Hellcats, 5 SBD Dauntless and 5 TBM Avengers. Going to either just leave it at that, or buy a supplemental kit for USN aircraft in 1/350.
