>>9315907Everdreamerz was stupid expensive. The usual price of a Playmobil figure with a full load of accessories ranging from tools to a bike was 4€ in the Special Plus format. Everdreamerz was like 15€ for a figure with a bunch of garbage accesories and a ton of paper waste. Aesthetically I guess I can't really comment since I'm not the target, but they looked quite unsightly to me.
For me it only got interesting stuff with the unreleased, fantasy-themed wave 4. I take that the witch wagon would be released or reinvented in a different fantasy subline anyways (Novelmore, Ayuma, whatever) so I have no major issue if Everdreamerz goes down.
>>9315917I think Playmobil has typically been cheap for its content and quality. By this board's standards it's crazy to think that pic related costs less than your usual import 1/12 figure. Provided that you don't want to buy everything in the extensive catalogue, it's a cheap brand.
The new sublines like Novelmore are noticeably more expensive within reasonable, and things like Everdreamerz, Ayuma and the newer licensed vehicles are getting awkwardly expensive. That flying Ayuma fairy posted above may have good decorations, but it doesn't seem to justify being that much more expensive than a Special Plus figure. The A-Team is 20€ more expensive than a generic robber van set that includes a helicopter!
