>>6304382I'm not a military buff. I want to like them but mostly don't. Maybe that's because I've never seen the Gundam cartoons which would put them in some sort of context. Most of them don't look like realistic fighting vehicles to me, with their bright colors and samurai helmets. And, 90 percent of them have those skirts and chest vents. Every time I see a picture of someone's Gundam shelf it's like Transformers toys; just a colorful wall of blocky objects.
The idea is nice though. I like the notion of building a model over an articulated frame, so it can be more than just a statue when finished. The different sizes available are nice too. If they made models like this pic I might have a go; even though it isn't a practical fighting machine either the bulky, walking tank aesthetic looks better to me.
