The bit that pegs into the guns is a black plastic pin that tapes to a fairly fine point (it's thicker inside the blast), but is only loosely placed inside a rather cavernous hole in the blast itself. So it doesn't stay still and likes to fall out. Since the blast isn't a make-or-break for me, this isn't a big deal--and in fact all of my KO accessories are in a bag.
The authentic blast has a clear peg that appears to be molded to the blast, and a painted bullet. I only had my authentic Punisher for about 2 days, and only opened it to inspect the contents, so I didn't really look closely.
