I’m rewatching Dragonball, just hit the Blue saga. I still love the whole adventuresque aspect of it. It’s just innocent and charming really. Even if I did grow up with Z and love the exponentially increasing power thing sometimes it’s nice to go back to the roots and watch Goku looking for Dragon Balls and fighting in tournaments. What’s that name for the thing that Studio Ghibli uses a lot in anime? It’s like the scenes where it will cut from the action to show a stag on a hill or the wind blowing through the trees etc. It’s something like “wa” but it’s focusing on the absence of action. Dragon Ball has lots of it. But to make this related to the general, I’d like a figure of Ran Fuan, however unlikely.
