Tonsen seems to be in good terms with other groups of chinks, the soft goods and custom hairs for his pieces got promoted by him and I'm pretty sure Kong marketing team and tonsen have both used teach other figures in scale comparisons without any issues.
DF is the pariah
on top of that it's not only an issue of DF not doing their promised stuff but we as consumers are getting the same concept of a figure, a lot of people would rather they do something we don't already have right now, and they also lose the brownie points Tonsen has since DF uses mostly cloned SHF pieces while Tonsen is 100% new sculpts.
