So I've been buying one G3 Monster High doll a week ever since they first came out on Oct. 1st. Clawdeen was my last doll to pick up because:
>She went from my most favorite character to my least favorite because Matty turned her from a sassy bimbo to dorky nerd.
>Most people seem to agree with me because she's shelf warming the most out of the initial wave of dolls.
>Frankie, Toralei, and Lala took precedence because those were the dolls that people wanted the most, so i snatched them up first.
Anyway, a couple of days later, I unboxed Clawdeen and found that her right knee was all kinds of fucked up. There was flashing in the joint. Worse was this rip along the mold seam of the knee. It would get wider and wider every time I bent the knee joint. Sadly, I knew what I had to do... I had to put down the lil' pupper.
So I went back to my local Wal-Mart to return her. The return process was no problem. But when I went to the toy aisle, there was NO Monster High dolls. Three days ago there were several MH dolls including a nearly full shelf of Clawdeens. But they were all gone! The price stickers were still there for the MH dolls but on the shelf In their place was a bunch of Encanto crap. And I hate Encanto! I doubled checked the area to see if they were moved to a display or endcap. No luck. The Wal-Mart app said they had the dolls in store, but fuck me if they were really there.
With my job schedule and the looming threat of Black Friday, that day was the only chance I had of snagging a Clawdeen somewhere else. So I traveled twenty miles out of my way to the next closest WM store and found another Clawdeen. Day ruined. Gas wasted. A total pain in the ass just to get the least wanted doll out of the initial wave. Clawdeen turned out to be such a major bitch. Who could've seen that?
