none of these companies are producing mass market toys. Like Diamond, DCC only sells to comic book shops and the like, so they're actually limited in how many toys they can release per month.

There was one guy here who said he owns a shop and didn't even know what Icons was supposed to be. He thought Icons was a replacement for DCC's McStatues lines and thought because some unrelated line like pic doesn't sell, that Icons wouldn't either.
There was obvious demand for the Icons line, considering how that Demon was actually sold out for preorders on BBTS and pretty high on Amazon still despite being only a preorder.
