I'm probably in the minority in that I prefer silver or metallic weapons. Colored weapons have always looked weird to me and it frustrated me that I couldn't use them on figures that lacked the matching colors. Silver weapons meant that I could finally use any weapon on any character without ending up with a rainbow on my hands.
Not going to lie, those silver Kopaka swords were 90% or the reson I bought pic related. I wish we got Lewa's axe and Tahu's sword in silver as well.

Just got pic related for the 4 light bley toggle joints in it, which would cost more to buy individually (£9.64 average from price guide) than the whole set (£6).

Plus, since this set was made during a time when TLG was going nuts making certain parts in particular colours just for one set, it has some other nice stuff too.
