The pale green skin is very appropriate for a zombie, the added black in her hair gives her a darker edge, the beanie hat is the best extra fabric piece so far, and most importantly, you can take a look at her and actually see the type of monster she’s supposed to be, with her brain print jacket and skirt that looks like dripping blood.
This is so bizarre a take because I’ve been disappointed with most of the G3 redesigns so far, but maybe because I never had any affection for Ghoulia in the original, and she also doesn’t appear to have been hit with the girly stick too bad. Crazy
