I have to admit that the limitations of the retail Generations line is much more conducive to replicating the post-'86 characters than they are the 84 bots. These just look and feel great. Although I have to wonder if it's just all the compromise and retooling of Combiner Wars that makes these look good. It's been a long time since we've had a deluxe figure with the MO of simply being a good, stand-alone figure.
