I think the Magic figures were only as bad as they were because they were Funko's first try at making actoin figures.
They got a whole lot better with the GoT figures and these were improved again with wave 2. They were basically as good as your standard NECA figure, which was a hell of a lot better than a Hasbro figure.

Maybe their third line was even better ,but fuck if i cared for whatever game that was

There's a lot of fantasy where gods, ascended humans, and aliens are seen as being much bigger than normal humans, so even stuff like this can work with 1:18 figures.

Also, Kirby intended that the New Gods were all giants and that motherbox or whatever they used shrunk/embiggened them when going to/from New Genesis/Apokolips

The figures weren't that bad.
They're easily better than Mattel's crap, if a bit fragile.
I'd say if they had fixed their paint, they'd be worth the $20.

The second wave of GoT was very good and worth the money.

The last line they did, which was based on that stupid evolution alien monster whatever game, was actually pretty good, BUT who the fuck wants figures from that stupid game?

They've released quite a few great figures in the line though, you just have to be careful with them.

Of course, i'm only strictly speaking about the GoT figures from the later waves when they improved on the paint.
