One of the more abstract entries this time around, the Zak Knight showcases how kitbashing can really transform a kit.
>The prototype of the Zak Knight was developed by the IMA in response to the Shurtal "Hund" and "Krote" type unmanned drone walkers.
>The IMA command put in a requirement for a similar unmanned drone type walker that could be used for extensive patrols and to support troops in land based operations. Amongst the designs submitted and accepted for tests was the P-06 Zak Knight, a bipedal type chassis with a Nissan 330 diesel engine which provided power for the on board systems and the primary weapon, a huge double barrelled high-yield laser mounted on the left arm, with the secondary arment being provided in the form of a hand held 50mm low velocity cannon capable of firing HE and proximity fused frag shells. Vision was provided by a Kodiak main camera in an armoured casemate on the chest, and a Nikon periscope camera on the right shoulder, with the Vanburg sensor dish sitting on the left.
