To use your own words, it is a very "disingenuous" representation of what the toy looks like. I wouldn't say it ruins it, but come on, it's pretty bad to get the basic colors of such an iconic character wrong, especially when the graphics and artwork for ALBW were so bright and colorful. That green is arguably not even "green", it's more of a gray-green.
