Well, I'll join.
I picked up these kits from the International Plastic Model Show. (luckily based in my home town).
The Train, from 2015, and the Car last year.
The train was an impulse buy, as I'd been looking to get into white metal kits for a while, and it was £25. It was missing a couple of important parts, but I bought another train on Ebay, which there was a problem with, and the seller sent me a motor, and the bits I needed, as compensation. Pretty cool of the guy.
The car, Toyota MR2, is a kit I'd been searching for. I daily a real AW11, and wanted one because I'm a nerd. My only gripe is Fujimi have a bad habit of making the pop-up headlights a part of the main shell casting. It makes lining the lights up a real pain in the ass. Tamiya kick the shit out of Fujimi in that regard. (I experienced this problem with the AE86 kit, and it's why that's not been touched in a while)
I'm working on these projects for a Twitch live stream. I'm hoping to generate interest for a bigger stream project, where I build scenery live. I reckon it'd be a chill thing to do. That's going to be mostly scratch building, though.
