Meant to post this here a bit sooner but didn't have the time, aliexpress 501st order came in, was just Appo and Hardcase so I can't speak for their generic 501st or their blank. The official one's in the middle here, the white of the armor matches under normal lighting but under the flash photo light the real one's strangely more cream/yelllowish than the bootlegs. Appo's blue is a perfect match to the offical 501st and Rex, while Hardcase is a bit brighter/more saturated but not to a bad degree. They absolutely nailed the armor paint details on Hardcase, it's completely flawless as far as I can tell, yet somehow Appo's significantly less complicated paint apps got messed up a bit with the helmet stripe being off-center, although it's not like hasbro hasn't done that to me before too. Still wish they'd move to the nonremovable helmet for these, but hopefully that happens before too long.
Also, I'm becoming increasingly convinced I like these wrist-hinge directions better, getting this two-handed blaster pose looks a lot more natural to me on Appo than the official one here, and the vertical left wrist on Hardcase is a huge help for getting him to hold the minigun well.
