In the last video, near the end, he didn't say anything about how the movies weren't successes. Just that the movies only create spikes and not long term sales, because that's just the nature of movie related sales. You get one year, from the time it's in theaters to when it's released on DVD/BD to get your sales and that's it.
That's how it is for nearly EVERY SINGLE movie franchise. It's why LotR, Avatar, Hobbit, Iron Man, Thor, Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Trek, and countless other movie lines only stick around for a year before disappearing.
If they want a year round thing, like Marvel or Star Wars, they need media year round and even then, the toys they sell are only based on the media at the time. They'll sneak in a nerd-only figure from time to time, but everything else is current shit.
Again, the movies were successes and nowhere did they say different in the videos... at least, from what i watched. You really think I'm going to spend hours through that shit? I skipped around and only found a few references to the movies and only the last one had a good amount of info, which is something everyone has known since Star Wars came out and stopped coming out in the 1980s.
You're a retard to say that the movies weren't successful, ESPECIALLY when the line made over $100 million from just selling action figures.
To claim "but it didn't make as much money as Batman" shows how retarded you are. They still over a hundred million dollars. It's like claiming that DC isn't a success just because they're outsold by Marvel a hundred bazillion to one. Or that Batman isn't popular because Spider-Man is 10x more popular.
You're proving how retarded you are when you claim something isn't successful just because something else is more successful.
