That's completely bullshit by the way, because all of the silhouetted characters definitely do need new ones. I say this owning this bastard right here, the lasted released among those shadowed. Bought him post SHFSS, and as a Blade fan I was pretty let down. Not in a fit of rage, but sad to see one of my favorite Rider shows using dated SHF proportions. Now I am holding off on the buying the rest so I won't waste money just to be more let down.
You can say SHFSS spoiled me, but SHF Blade's problems are pretty far from nitpick-tier I'd argue nonetheless. He was good insofar as being as being a beta tester for new engineering, but he definitely needs another go.. May be not so early, but definitely don't take him, his bretheren Riders, and those whose releases came before him off the list of possibilities just because they a "landmark" for the line or something.
Though, maybe an SHFSS Blade could have Blade be another landmark for SHF by being the first SHF that has a 3D scanned toku actor via a broken helmet. Sure it would be just the eye, but I'd take anything to warm them up the idea of doing more 3D scans of tokusatsu actors.
