If you have interest in one particular country and eras ships doing color matching and looking for paint sets for what every vessels you plan to do will save you headaches down the road. If you just have a general intrest in ships and just plan to bounce around eras and countries getting colors as you need them is a better idea. Also don’t worry about 100% accurate colors especially for really basic colors like black,grey,or white
