See part #4 here? That's what cause my problem and made my o ring look like it was failing, there was build up in this part and no amount of flushing, etc cleans it because of the shape and size of the hole on the pointy end.
Take off that bolt part again (part #3) then remove part #4. Grab a cleaning needle like the brass colored thing in here:
https://www.amazon.com/Master-Airbrush-Piece-Cleaning-Kit/dp/B06Y3MG6Z4 and clean out part #4 with it. Use the bristles or a pipe cleaner or just use this because it eats through everything i've ever put in an air brush after a few flushes and mild scraping:
