Nevermind people live in areas with high humidity or storing their discs laying down.
If you take care of your stuff by storing them in upright, in an area that isn't against an outside wall (sun = heat = aging faster), away from humidity (AC is a huge benefit not just for you but everything you own), your shit will last a lifetime, if not longer.
Same goes with your toys. There's a reason why some people have had their Figmas and Revoltechs go bad so fast (under five years), and that's because of their shitty areas and not storing their stuff correctly. Whereas I've had those same toys without any problems ten years after people started complaining.
