>>6497421Well, I loved it because it went back to entirely hand-drawn 2D animation after the whole Beast saga and Unicron trilogy, and DJW's character designs were appealing and fun. The show was also snappy and easy to watch, whereas I ended up getting bored halfway through a lot of the other shows.
It also certainly didn't hurt that the toyline was fucking AMAZING. I had doubts about how such simple designs could work and be fun to transform, but for the most part they exceeded my expectations. Some of my favorite TF toys to this day came from Animated.
