To me, the biggest thing i had to get used to after my dark age is the modern lego faces.
This picture is a good comparison. I had plenty of the classic pirates, and while i don't mind the more detailed body print, the two newer faces are terrible compared to the classic one. They just seem wrong. That's why I buy only Playmobil now. Atleast they keep it classic.
