Not at all flawless, but it was at least its own story that wasn't just Episode IV again and it did a bunch of stuff that wasn't in a Star Wars movie before and was interesting to see.
Not that I hated Episode VII either, I thought it had interesting ideas and I look forward to the next two expanding on them after they finished winning back/pandering to the fans after the prequels
