>>7417796The Marauders stuff is just fantastic, if not a bit overwhelming if you don't have an idea of what kind of figure you want. I kind of kick myself for not getting in on the WWII stuff, as they have some of the best headsculpts of the line to date. Though I'm more interested in modern soldiers so I'm probably going to wait until they hit the shop and just buy the parts and figures separately to make my own mixed and matched soldiers.
Unrelated to the MTF stuff, in my search for a vehicle to go with the PGV figures I pre-ordered I discovered the Star Wars Imperial Combat Assault Tank (pic related) and it seems like it would fit these figures perfectly. It's aesthetic resembles the PGV stuff much closer then the Sand Skiff, and it has a lot of potential for some custom parts to make it look more "lived in", including a nice big transport bed. It even has a three person cockpit, which is perfect for my crew of three figures.
But god damn is that thing expensive. For essentially a giant brick with treads, the price tag on it is ridiculous. While we seem to be going through an amazing renaissance of 3"3/4 figures, there's a noticeably drought in terms of vehicles and playsets. Is Star Wars the only place to get vehicles in this scale? I know Acid Rain used to do larger vehicles, but all the newer stuff seems to be at a smaller scale, and I can't think of any other toyline making stuff for 1:18.
Also, does anyone have that Imperial Combat Tank in hand? I'm curious how it fits with Marauders or Joes, all the reviews I see only have ill fitting Star Wars figures that don't seem to do it justice.
